Terms of use
Draft — will be finalised before public launch
The short, honest version for the beta. Full terms will replace this page before public launch.
The beta
ThoughtBridge is in beta and provided as-is. Things will occasionally break, change, or be rebuilt. We'll be careful with your data, but you shouldn't rely on the beta as your only copy of anything critical — destinations exist partly so your thoughts live in places you control.
Your content
Your captures, transcripts, and notes are yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service — storing, transcribing, analysing, and writing them to the destinations you configure — and nothing more. We don't use your content to train models.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself and use the service lawfully. Don't capture content you have no right to record, and don't use the service to harm others or probe its security.
Bridge-it and your code
Bridge-it runs on a self-hosted runner that you install, configure, and enable per project. You're responsible for the repositories it can reach and for reviewing pull requests it opens. We provide the runner software — open source at launch — without warranty.
Fair use
The beta is free within fair-use limits on captures. We may adjust limits to keep the service healthy, and we'll communicate changes rather than silently degrade things.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, ThoughtBridge is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from beta use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced to beta users by email before they take effect.
